The 2024 #GWCherryChallenge—sponsored by George Washington’s Mount Vernon— celebrates George Washington’s historic presence in his adopted hometown!

From February 1st through the 15th, Alexandria restaurants will be offering cherry-inspired dishes in honor of the myth of Washington’s chopping down the cherry tree. Visit your favorite restaurants to find out what their entries are!
