On Monday, February 20, 2017...George Washington's Day.
Experience the Parade!
The annual George Washington Birthday Parade is held annually on the third Monday in February. It winds through a one-mile route along the historic streets of Old Town on President's Day. It is the oldest and largest, thanks to thousands of participants. More programs scheduled throughout the birthday weekend make it the cornerstone of a month of celebratory events.
Join the Parade!
Parade unit invitations were delayed this year due to the website re-design. If your organization wants to march in the parade please complete this participant form. Once your registration is received your unit will be listed under Registered Units. Questions and feedback are encouraged so if you are not sure about something, have a comment or suggestion, or need assistance, please contact us via email@example.com. Informational meetings are scheduled for orientation and to answer questions for participating parade units on Mondays, January 9, 2017 & February 6, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Lee Center (1108 Jefferson Street, Alexandria 22314). Please advise if you are planning to attend one of these meetings. You may arrange for a special meeting at a different time and/or location by contacting us. These meetings are not required!
